Hello my readers,

I wont be posting for Memory Mondays anymore because my husband and I decided that we needed to get rid of the internet to save money and for other reasons that would be to hard to explain on a blog post. But I sill will be blogging only when I able to get on a free wifi.

I will miss posting on a regular basis but this must be.

Memory Monday: LIGHT

So how did you guys do with photographing light? I don’t know if you had to do this but I had to think about how light works and how the eye and brain see it and then I was able to photograph it. I know it’s wierd but that’s just how I think :) Here are some of mine that I took this week…

Memory Monday: ORANGE

I thought ORANGE would be extremely hard for me because I’m not an ORANGE loving person and therefore don’t decorate with that color, but low and behold I didn’t have to look very far to find some ORANGE…

My marigolds are ORANGE!

Aren’t they so beautiful? I never knew how pretty a marigold could be until I got down in the dirt to take pictures of them.

The Children received a play set from our dear friends a couple of weeks ago and it just happens to have ORANGE in it

Cheddar cheese is ORANGE!

I only got one pair of hands this week and they just happen to be the most beautiful hands.

Hands that have loved so much.

These hands just happen to be my mother-in-loves hands.

I love how this picture turned out! Gail is holding Autumn; and both of their love languages are touch. I love watching them caress and love each other in their own special language. It’s a beautiful sight!

I love the color red. I love apple read and country red the most. Here are some reds I’ve run across lately.

I was given an humming bird feeder from my children for Mother’s day this year.

I saw this red flower this weekend while we were on a hike.

I think I’ve put this one up on one of my blogs already but I love it and I’m putting it up again!

The bruschetta on my favorite pizza to make.

A red rose that my husband surprised me with!

Memory Monday: Water

After forgetting this past week to take water pictures, I felt horrible and got down to business with some ideas I had.

My children love to play in the “pool” (which is truly a sand box converted to two swimming pools, one for Josiah and one for the girls)

This is Josiah’s pool (you can see why it’s Josiah’s pool because it’s muddy and girls can’t stand being dirty)

This is what happens when you get too close to Josiah’s pool…you get sprayed.

This is the girl’s pool with a boy in it!!

I gave Andrew a large Tupperware bowl for his “pool” and he loved it!

After the long morning, there’s nothing like a drink of ice cold water with a lemon in it.

Yum!!

I was SO excited to do this photo topic! I had so many great ideas, but sadly, I didn’t get a chance this week to work on any of my ideas :(. I’ll just tuck them away in my brain and work on them for next year.

My tomatoes are GROWING! (this one is about the size of a dollar coin)

My strawberry plants are GROWING…but the fruit is only the size of a penny :(

I thought these little hairs that are GROWING on the tomato plant were pretty.

My camera bag is GROWING. My husband bought me this lens for my birthday!

My family is GROWING….

6 years ago there were only two of us (which I cannot remember what that was like!)

now there are six of us!

Memory Mondays: Fathers

Well it’s still Monday in my time zone so I’m going to finally post some Father pictures. There aren’t spectacular, staged or edited… just simple life at it’s fullest.

This is my oldest son who is giving his father, who just happens to be my very handsome husband, some father’s day presents.

I love how my husband takes his time gazing and wowing over each card that his children gave and made for him.

The girls gave him and incense box and some incense.

The boys gave him a new “shaver” (he was very surprised)

And I had everyone make something together for him. This is the front.
